Solar Power International 2017 has come and gone! This year was Mission Solar Energy’s (MSE) second year hosting an exhibit at SPI. We would like to share some of our favorite moments and give you a peek at what it takes to showcase at North America’s largest solar trade show.
High-power, American Quality
After visiting the Mission Solar Energy booth, there is one message guests walked away with: High-power, American quality.
This year Mission Solar showcased a diverse line of high efficiency solar modules.
“Our line of concept modules featured the very best of solar technology. We were gauging customer interest in these products. Based on the response we received, production could be as early as Q1 2018”, said Jae Yang, President of Mission Solar Energy.
New products that were showcased included heterojunction and AC technologies. Both of which attracted much attention. As demands for higher efficiencies and fire ratings increase, Mission Solar Energy proved that it is remaining competitive by highlighting new technologies that meet qualifications.
Mission Solar Energy’s product line included the following:
MSC HJT 72 Elite: This is a high-power module featuring Heterojunction technology which produces 460W of power with the bifacial boost. The Elite consists of a strong dual glass construction, not only durable but also offers pleasing aesthetics. This module has been tested and certified against >210 mile-per-hour wind load, received a Class A fire rating and has a low thermal co-efficient.
MSE HJT 72: Much like the HGT 72 Elite, this module offers advanced heterojunction cell technology and an industry-leading front side power output of 400W. Unlike the Elite, this model is constructed with an aluminum frame, which makes for a streamlined installation.
MSE PERC 60 AC: This module has an integrated micro inverter, which shortens installation time and simplifies inventory management. This feature also maximizes system production in shady conditions and was tested and certified against >210mph wind load. Panel-level performance monitoring is another advantage of the PERC AC.
Other modules that were on display included: MSE MONO 60, MSE MONO 72, MSE MULTI 72, which are currently a part of MSE’s product offerings. All of the modules are designed, engineered and assembled at our 200MW facility in San Antonio, TX.
SPI 2018 & Beyond
Solar Power International 2017 was a great success for the Mission Solar team.
After two years in Las Vegas, in 2018 Solar Power International is returning to Anaheim, California. As the leading state in the U.S. for solar, the return to Anaheim was an easy decision.
