DEMONSTRATED QUALITY

Mission Solar Energy modules beat the competition in long-term reliability. Our products exceed International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards by three times the industry standard. This has been verified by third-party testing laboratories. This means that our modules maintain a high power output in “real world” conditions when compared to other American module manufacturers. Mission Solar Energy modules are listed on California Energy Commission’s listing of modules. As a result, our modules are more likely to be eligible for solar rebate programs across the United States.

Our Quality Standards

INTERNAL TESTING

Mission Solar Energy features an in-house research and development laboratory to drive technological innovation and ensure the highest product quality. Our engineers are engaged in ongoing research and testing to maximize the efficiency of our modules. Other third-party testing includes: UV Exposure, Ammonia, Salt Mist & Reflectivity.

HAIL TEST

The hail test measures the amount of force modules can take from extreme weather conditions. Our modules are certified to withstand a one inch in diameter hailstone at 52 mph. 

WET CURRENT LEAKAGE

Wet current leakage testing measures how well modules perform after being submerged in water.

POTENTIAL INDUCED DEGRADATION

Potential Induced Degradation (PID) measures power output over time. Tests include:
UV Exposure
Thermal Cycling (TC)
Damp Heat (DH)

DYNAMIC MECHANICAL LOAD

Dynamic Mechanical Load testing measures how well modules perform after being subject to heavy loads such as snow or wind.
