Fair Trade Practices

Mission Solar Energy is dedicated to operating within an ethical and sustainable supply chain. Our policies and procedures relating to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) are unwavering: forced labor is strictly prohibited in our supply chain and we will not enter into vendor agreements with manufacturers, suppliers or vendors that use or are suspected of using forced labor.

This dedication carries over to our material selection processes, as well. We incorporate only the highest quality, ethically sourced materials that also allow our products to avoid application of antidumping and countervailing duties, including those that may result from the April 24 petition requesting investigation of the potentially illegal solar-related trade practices of four Southeast Asian countries. In fact, our dedication to fighting unfair trade practices is the reason we petitioned the Department of Commerce and the US International Trade Commission for such an investigation. Maintaining our ethical and sustainable supply chain is essential to our product. It is essential to your confidence in Mission Solar as well.

ABOUT THE OCI FAMILY OF COMPANIES

Mission Solar Energy is a subsidiary of OCI Holdings, a global green energy and chemical conglomerate serving 100 countries. The OCI Holdings portfolio spans more than six decades in the fields of clean energy, fine chemicals, urban development, and bio pharmaceuticals. Founded in Seoul, South Korea 1959, the company is highly diversified and is publicly listed on the Korean stock exchange.

OCI Holdings is a major supplier of fully ULFPA compliant, high-purity solar-grade polysilicon through OCIM. This gives Mission Solar’s procurement chain an added degree of bankable visibility and upstream leverage.

In the United States, Mission Solar is led by parent company OCI Enterprises. OCI Enterprises is also parent to our sister company, OCI Energy, founded in 2012 in San Antonio, TX. OCI Energy has quickly become a leading developer of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. In addition, through a joint-venture, OCI Enterprises operates Sun Action Trackers, a total solutions manufacturer of tracking and racking systems.
