The Heart of Sales Operations: Meet Kathleen

This month, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on Kathleen Rodriguez, Mission Solar Energy’s Sales Operations Manager and a passionate advocate for renewable energy. For the past three years, Kathleen has played a vital role in ensuring our sales processes run smoothly while supporting cross-functional collaboration across the company. 

Her path to Mission Solar was rooted in a lifelong exposure to sustainability. “I grew up in an environment where my parents were active in the renewable space,” she shares. “My father worked with the U.S. Green Building Council and designed LEED buildings to accommodate solar, so the passion for clean energy was instilled in me early on.” 

A typical day in Kathleen’s world is fast-paced and dynamic. From managing customer service support behind the scenes to fine-tuning the sales flow and using data-driven insights to support business decisions, her work impacts every corner of our organization. “It’s never dull,” she says. “I love getting to work with different departments and learning more about our product and the solar industry on a deeper level.” 

Kathleen also appreciates the opportunities for growth at Mission Solar. “This company has a strong leadership team and has allowed me to grow professionally. I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon—I want to keep building my career here.” 

When she’s not keeping sales operations in sync, Kathleen is outdoors whenever possible—fishing, hiking, camping, or catching a baseball game. She’s also a fan of science and history documentaries, Marvel movies, and the book Infinite Powers. 

Her favorite advice? “Trust but verify. Be open to change.” 

We’re lucky to have Kathleen’s energy, insight, and leadership guiding our operations. She’s an essential part of the Mission Solar team, and we’re excited for what is ahead!
